Get Up. Back on the mat, sophomore wrestler Kristie Avalos struggles to get up after junior wrestler Cadence Porter successfully lands a throw. The two had been in  practice matches—namely called live gos—for the previous 10 minutes, even though real matches only last three two-minute periods.

Dance On. Ross Ike, native dancer, dances the traditional Grass Dance at the celebration for Native American Heritage month. Ike had danced one time before this and showed the audience how this dance looked solo versus with other tribal dances.

Gettin’ Busy. Rightmost sophomore Andrea Nyamedi works diligently on Burn Magazine along with her fellow staff members. The staff had been working on this student-run magazine for the past three weeks and they finally started to work on finishing details.

Glued Together. Sophomores Delaney Jackson, on the right, and Lilly Italia, on the left, pose for a picture while taking a break from editing one another’s magazine pages. They were close to finishing and had been working for the past hour on perfecting the composition for a collaboration of works.

Giggle Time. Sophomores Therese Kaven and Kristie Avalos laugh before school, waiting for the bell to ring. They had been talking and laughing with other friends before and started to giggle at another friend falling.
