Ms. Mary Bruegman got her undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Vocal Music Education at Wayne State College and her Masters in Vocal Perfor- mance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Before she came to Mar- ian, Bruegman taught at Millard Public Schools, Iowa Western Community College as a voice professor and taught private lessons.

She also teaches voice lessons to singers ranging from 3 to 60 years old. One fun fact about Bruegman is that she was once “Twitter famous.” During the pandemic she posted a video of her college choir that went viral and was interviewed by the New York Times about it. Bruegman said she is excited for the Show Choir season and upcoming musical season.

Mr. Bruce Moore is a University of Nebraska at Lincoln graduate with a bachelors in Secondary Education with endorsements in history and physical education. He also holds a Master Degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in Curriculum Instruction with a technology and secondary endorsement in Computer Science. Before starting here, he was a physical education teacher for Gretna Public Schools, then moved and taught social studies at York Public Schools.

When he obtained his Masters degree, he moved back to the Omaha area to explore technology as the Technology Director of Duchesne Academy. He was there until 2022, when he dipped into the commercial technology market, however, it “wasn’t a good match,“ so he moved back to education at Gross Catholic High School until moving to Marian this year. One thing Moore is excited about this school year is getting to know the community of Marian. For Moore, “Everyone has been very supportive and welcoming. I have heard and read about the many traditions here,” Moore said. He looks forward to seeing and experiencing them in person.

Mr. Zach Wulbert graduated from Creighton University in 2018 while ma- joring in theology and secondary education. Currently, he is working on his Master’s in Theological Studies from Franciscan University of Steubenville. After graduating from Creighton, he moved to Arlington Heights, IL, where he was a theology teacher and campus minister at a Catholic high school.

One thing Wulbert wants students to know is “my favorite ice cream flavor, but they have to guess it! In all seriousness, I learn so much from my students every year, and I’m looking forward to learning from all of you,” Wulburt said. One fun fact about Wulbert is that he was once in a Blue Man Group show. “I’m excited to meet so many new people. I am also really looking forward to all of the retreats,” he said.
