Congratulations to these senior journalism students recognized by the Nebraska Federation of Press Women at their 70th Anniversary Spring Conference in Lincoln today, April 23.
The girls were recognized by Governor Pete Ricketts and leaders of the Nebraska Press Women organization.
Tessa McLaughlin, 1st place in Editorial Writing
Ally Hermanek and McKenna Simpson, 2nd place in Graphic Illustration/Photo Illustration
Collette Gillaspie, 3rd place in Column Writing/Blogging
These young journalists will be competing in the NSAA State Journalism Contest on Monday, April 25 in Norfolk, with 11 of their senior classmates.
