On Feb. 18 the competition dance team competed for a state title in Grand Island, Neb. The team placed fifth in the Class A pom category scoring a total of 83.0 with zero deductions. 

Dance team captain senior Lexi Ketcham reflected on the year positively, saying, “The year was challenging with COVID restrictions, but I’m really proud of our team and how hard we worked, with an end to a good year at state.”

 The dance team performs at all-school pep rallies, Creighton Prep football and basketball games, and Marian basketball games at halftime. Tryouts for next year’s teams will be on March 22-25, for more information check out the dance team page on Marian’s website.
