New students and parents were welcomed to Marian on Monday, August 8. Students were given name tags with their homeroom number and told to go find their homeroom. Parents were sent off to the Performing Arts Center to meet the administration and get tips and tricks on Marian parent survival.

Big Sisters and homeroom teachers led the Class of 2026 in small group icebreakers and conversation. With a goal to help students meet each other and ease some of the typical first day jitters, the event was a success. The evening ended with students enjoying Kona Ice and a Big Sister Style Show explaining how to appropriately accessorize the school uniform.
