Statement of Ethics

I will strive to shoot the most accurate, real, and story-telling photo of what I am photographing. I will stay informed about said subject and aim to capture it in the most compelling way possible. Photography is a form of communication, as a picture is said to be worth a thousand words. I seek to be able to capture the world around me and preserve these moments in a different way.

I will work to earn consent of the subject I am photographing, before and after shooting the photo. I will remember the requests they have made about shooting the photo, and work to respect their wishes.

I would like my photography to be captivating and unlike photography you have come across. I want to express raw emotion through my work, and be able to showcase the human condition through the pictures I take.

I will be open to criticism towards my art. Photography is a business that you can constantly improve on, and I strive to be able to do better than before. This is an art form, and I want to create something that people can relate to, learn about, or even feel just by taking one look at the photo.
