New show gives inside look to secret life of spies

On Feb. 2, Amazon Prime released a new TV show: “Mr. & Mrs. Smith.” The new show gives a modernized look to the beloved movie “Mr. & Mrs. Smith,” which came out in 2005 and stars Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.The new show stars famous musician Donald Glover, AKA Childish Gambino, and actress Maya Erskine. The eight episode show focuses on new couple Mr. and Mrs. Smith. The couple may seem like your average newlyweds, but they are actually spies hired for dangerous missions. These missions take them all around the country. The show has some major differences compared to the movie. In the movie, Mr. and Mrs. Smith fall in love and marry each other without knowing the other is a spy. In the TV show, the couple is hired and then arranged to marry. The couple gets married, and as they get to know each other, they fall in love. I had high hopes for the show, because I had never seen the movie and thought this show would be a great introduction to the story of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I enjoyed the first couple episodes but got too bored, and I was unable to even finish the show. I really liked the actors and the plot but the execution wasn’t the best. I had known of the plot prior to watching the show and was really excited to watch it because I liked the actors. Even though the show had everything I like, with great actors and a great plot, the execution was not there and there was often unnecessary wordiness, which made it boring for me.
