Service Speaks Volumes. Freshman Jayden Wiedel completes community service at St. Thomas More by reading Halloween stories to elementary students on Nov. 1. This part of the retreat allows girls to practice the core value of Service.

Friendship and Faith. Senior Nora Coffey’25 hugs her friend Caxtyn Johnson’28 at the Marian Freshman Retreat Mass on Nov. 1. This Mass was an emotional moment for the senior retreat leaders as they realized their time at Marian will soon be coming to an end.

When taking photos, my goal is to capture moments that authentically represent people and events. I will always consider the context in which the photo will be shared and be mindful of how the individuals being photographed may feel about its use. I aim to take the best possible shot while remaining respectful and aware of my surroundings. The privacy and dignity of the people I photograph will always be a top priority. As a beginner photographer, I hope to create images that are both impactful and considerate of the subjects involved.
