Surprise Day Fun – Junior Nora Britson jumps on the Wipeout Ball Blow up at Marian’s Surprise Day on Oct. 31. Although inflatables have been at Marian before, this is the first time the Wipeout Ball Inflatable has been there.

Gaming Students – A group of freshmen play a student-created game together about the book they just read for class. The book was Death on the Nile and the goal of the game was to figure out who the murderer was.

Academic Moment 

iPad Effort – Freshman Sophia Camp works on her Pre AP study guide in the Haddix after school on Nov. 13. She studied for her test later in the week.

 

Marian Spirit or Core Value 

First Day Freshman – Freshman Sophia Camp poses by the Marian welcome sign on Aug. 15. This was the first day of school with all the different grade levels.

 

Emotional Response 

Giggling and Gobbling – Juniors Ava DeSmet and Isa Valencia Valbuena laugh together at lunch on Nov. 13. This took place at first lunch while they were sharing a turkey wrap.  

My Photo Ethics Statement: In my work, I will only portray photos that are mine and I strive to capture beautiful moments through my camera. I will only take photos when I am granted permission and will never manipulate photos to portray something that is different from reality.
