Le Peep is a small chain breakfast and brunch spot known for its great menu and friendly atmosphere. Le Peep provides delicious morning meals that are a staple for many, along with delivering comfort foods that are perfect for a leisurely brunch. Le Peep has many locations, and about 60 restaurants total, four of which are located in Omaha. A somewhat central location to Omaha residents may be in Pepperwood Village at 156th and Dodge.
Le Peep’s menu offers something for everyone, with a variety of breakfast and lunch options. They offer pancakes which are light, airy and served with fresh fruit and syrup. The Belgian Waffle is also a fan favorite which is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, topped with whipped cream and berries. Le Peep has a very lengthy list of meal options such as toasts, crepes, bagels, sandwiches and more.
While the food is amazing, the service is equally as impressive. Le Peep’s service is incredibly efficient and friendly. The waitstaff has a great attitude and they are always willing to offer recommendations about the menu and fan favorites. The restaurant can get crowded, especially on weekends, but the staff works hard to ensure customers don’t wait too long. While Le Peep is a casual restaurant, the servers always make sure you feel welcome whether you are dressed for church or in sweats.
Le Peep is also reasonably priced, with great quality of food and the large portions provided. Most breakfast and brunch items cost between $9-$15, while pancakes and waffles generally fall in a $10-$12 range. As for lunch, prices are usually close to $12-$16. Le Peep’s menu is diverse and tasty, and falls in a rather inexpensive price range that I believe makes it a must visit.
Overall, Le Peep is a cozy restaurant that is open and welcoming thanks to the great natural lighting. The atmosphere is casual and perfect for a laid-back brunch or catching up with friends. There’s a good balance between booths and tables, and the restaurant is often filled with chatter, creating an inviting environment. I would highly recommend visiting Le Peep if you haven’t already, and I rate it 5/5 stars.
