I happily took a trip down to enjoy the tasty food at Timber Creek in Omaha, Nebraska on May 2nd with my mom, my brother and my sister.
When we arrived at the restaurant I was already happy because the location was about a five minute drive from my house, so it was very convenient. Timber Creek is located at 6718 S 178th St, Omaha, Nebraska. However, the restaurant was a part of a strip mall, so the parking was not ideal, but we were still able to find a good parking spot.

As soon as I walked through the door, I immediately felt a relaxed energy, a sports grill vibe. This energy matched the attire for the restaurant, simple and casual clothing. There were lights, tv’s that displayed different sports games such as baseball and basketball and seating inside as well as outside.
At the door, we were greeted by a kind server who led us to a high chair table for four. After browsing the menu for drink choices, a kind and energetic waitress walked over to our table and asked what we wanted to drink. I got a Dr. Pepper. After ordering drinks, the waitress did something I liked, which was communicating well with us to know whether or not we were ready to order.
We spent the next couple minutes figuring out what we wanted to order. Scanning the menu, I was satisfied with the variety of food options from pizzas, to burgers, to wraps.
I was very pleased with the prices of the food ranging from $10-12 for non-pizza items and $15-20 for the pizza’s. She asked us what we wanted to order and I replied with a simple Timber Creek cheeseburger and a side of fries. My sister ordered the same thing and my mom and brother ordered a birria pizza to share.
The atmosphere of the restauraunt was great for the occasion we were out on, which was a simple dinner to have fun, laugh, and talk with some of my family members.
The waitress was back in a decent amount of time to serve us our food. My cheeseburger was tasty with lettuce and onions and my fries were perfectly crispy with delicious seasoning. Although she did get the right order for me and my sister, unfortunately, she did not get the right pizza for my mom and brother. It was a pizza with teriyaki sauce, meatballs, and pineapple slices. Despite the mix up, my mom and brother ended up enjoying the pizza she gave them just fine.
I thought the portions of their food were just right. My meal was enough to fill me up, but not too little or too much. The pizzas are perfect to share considering the amount you get for what you pay.
Overall, Timber Creek was a great place to go to eat dinner to enjoy a meal alongside a laugh. The aroma and the food was great and delicious. I also really liked the indoor and outdoor seating options. I would rate the service an 8/10 and would not hesitate to come back again.
