I absolutely love the movie “Twisters!” It is a movie you can watch with friends or with your family. I should know because I did both. It is a PG-13 movie, available on Prime Video with a running time of two hours and two minutes. And let me tell you: it is worth every second.
This movie came out pretty recently (2024) and has already been nominated for a Golden Globe, a Saturn Award for Best Action/Adventure Film and Best Film Visual/Special Effects, a Family Film Award for Best Feature Film and many other awards. “Twisters” has actors such as Glen Powell, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Anthony Ramos.
One thing that I loved about this movie is the music in it. The entire score of the movie is country music. I am a huge fan of country music, so this really appealed to me. There are so many amazing country artists that are featured on the “Twisters” album, such as Luke Combs, Lainey Wilson, Miranda Lambert and Thomas Rhett. The “Twisters” album received a Grammy nomination for Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media.
“Twisters” is about a girl named Kate who chases and tries to tame tornadoes with her friends, until one day, they get caught in a really powerful storm, and three of Kate’s friends die. Kate then moves to New York and vows to never get near another tornado again. But then, the only surviving friend of hers, Javi, asks her to come back to Oklahoma to help him track tornadoes.
Reluctantly, Kate agrees and tries to stop a huge outbreak of tornadoes in Oklahoma with the help of Javi and other storm chasers, or as they like to refer to themselves, tornado wranglers. “Twisters” is a must-see movie. “If you feel it, chase it!”
