Mochinut Omaha is a bright inviting space, with a modern atmosphere that is perfect for social media posts. It is a joyful place with employees who are knowledgeable in their menu, crafting up the perfect snack that did not disappoint.

I had no idea what to order, but the enthusiastic employee recommended a half and half Korean corn dog, coated in potatoes. Along with this, I ordered a strawberry lemonade with strawberry popping boba and a key lime mochiball.

The half-hotdog, half-mozzarella stick corn dog exceeded my expectations. The juicy delicious corn dog was well cooked and the potatoes brought extra crunch that I didn’t know I ever needed. Drenching this concoction in ketchup was a great idea, and this ketchup made the snack one of the best hot dogs I have ever had.

The popping boba lemonade was a refreshing drink that cooled me off during a hot spring day. The employees were generous with the amount of boba in my drink, and I am very appreciative of this. I am also very appreciative that boba is included in the price, as it is often an extra dollar.

As wonderful as the corn dog and the boba were, I unfortunately can not say the same about the mochiball. The key lime flavor was somewhat present, but overall the lack of flavor was disappointing. It was a mess to eat, and I lost some of the key lime cream in the process of eating it. The mochiball was chewy, and tasted over done. I had so much hope for this item, as I love the key lime flavor, but it fell short of my expectations.

Overall, Mochinut is a great place for a quick snack. It is eccentric and energizing, with good vibes and great food. This place is not a skip, and deserves more attention for its great food.
