Test or quiz in every class. Work three times a week. A huge project due in a week. And to top it all off you cannot seem to keep your eyes open.

Did I just describe a week that you have ever had? Odds are, we have all had a week where we were drowning and didn’t think our GPAs would survive. You are stressed out and cannot seem to get it under control. You try deep breathing exercises, maybe a full-on meditation, or maybe you just go take a nap, but I am going to help you and give you five ways to chill out.
One way is to go to Target and buy yourself a coloring book. You might think I am kidding, but I am being 100 percent serious. Yes, the last time you owned one was probably around first or second grade, but I promise you something about just sitting there and coloring a picture of Disney princess brings so much calm. It’s crazy.
Next, take a nice, hot shower. Hot water works wonders. That’s all I gotta say.
Then, make yourself some calming tea or coffee and listen to your chill playlist. We all have a go to chill playlist or artist, so take 15 minutes and go be in your own little world.
If all else fails, have a dance party. If you aren’t a chill playlist kind of gal, then go to your jam playlist and go HARD. Picture Meredith and Christina from Grey’s in their dance parties and just do that. I mean, if it helps surgical interns, it can help us too, right?
Literally, just breathe. No matter what happens on that test or project or whatever is happening in your life, as long as you keep breathing, then you are doing pretty fantastic. You got this bud, just keep going.
P.S. When in doubt, there is no such thing as too much caffeine.
