For the first time, the Marian Robotics Club competed in the US Open Robotics Championship on April 7 and 8 at the Mid America Center this year. Teams of all ages come from around the world to compete in eight different tournaments right here in the Omaha area.

Marian’s team participated in the “CREATE-ivity” challenge. They met weekly to write and design a story that matched this year’s theme: emotion. The team took first place, winning the Dreamweaver Award, with their story of the different emotions experienced by high school freshmen.
