Sports/Action: Going in Backwards. The Marian Swim team competing at a meet at Westside on Saturday, Jan. 28. Swimmers dove into the pool, eager to represent their school.
News/Feature: Bringing it Home. The Marian Swim and Dive team presenting their State Championship trophy to President Mrs. Michele Ernst and Principal Mrs. Susie Sullivan. The team gives their trophy of hard work to the school.
Light/Shadow: People being people during a sunset on Lake Flanagan.
Advertising: Enjoying Crumbl cookies with friends on a summer day. 
Pet Portrait: Paulina, the sweetest puppy, at the Humane Society.
Academic Moment: Learning by Questioning. Ella D ‘23 in Mrs. Ashley Bauer’s pottery II class. She is not afraid to ask questions to learn more. 
Core Value/Marian Spirit: Empowering New Opportunities. Students gather to listen to guest at Marian’s Career fair on Feb. 28.  Students are empowered with this fair to learn more about opportunities in the metro area.

Genuine Emotion: Supporting With Spirit. Seniors Sophia T, Aya K, Brynn L, and Micah L cheer on their classmates performing in the talent show on Feb. 21. They support their classmates with Marian spirit in all they do.

Statement of Ethics:

As a photographer I record interesting angles that illuminate a good story. I look for moments that make others smile and that, years from now, people will like looking back on and enjoy. I think it’s important to keep the integrity of a photo, but if there is a tool to enhance the natural beauty, I may use it to help tell the story.
