Mula is a beloved Mexican restaurant located in the heart of Blackstone known for its unique, yet delicious takes on classic Mexican street dishes.
Mula offers a variety of food and drinks, blending authentic Mexican street flavors with a funky fresh take. The solid variety of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free dishes makes it a great spot for many diets. Entrees cost between $4 and $15, with desserts at $5.
Mula opens daily at 11 a.m. and stays open until 10 p.m., attracting a lively crowd. Despite the buzzing energy that increases as the day goes on, efficient and friendly service remains.
The colorful art, exposed brick walls and open, spacious layout of the dining spot create a fun and casual atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling windows invite natural light to flood the front of the restaurant, and on warm spring and summer evenings, they are often opened to create a breezy feel that connects diners to Blackstone, a bustling area of downtown Omaha located at 40th and Farnam.
As the light dims towards the back of the restaurant, low hanging lights cast an ambient atmosphere. Various seating options such as booth benches, standard tables and chairs, bar seating, and high-top tables are available, welcoming everyone from families and couples to large groups enjoying a night out.
Whether it’s a family dinner, date night, or a fun night out with friends, Mula offers a lively and exciting atmosphere that a chain doesn’t offer.
