Super step. Whole class demonstration (demo) while consisting of songs and formations, also has some simple dance moves. Many classes decide to incorporate step into their songs. Costumes were planed before field week, and the costume committee executed them during field week. They spend every morning for a month before field day choreographing dances and changing song lyrics for their cheer. The sophomore field day cheer team is pictured cheering on station 28. Photo by EleanorKolterman. Swinging skit! Judges booklet is a 3D booklet plus a skit that represents the class theme and unity with other grades. Freshmen Estella Mendoza, Hayden Marquis, Sasha Gross-Rhode, and Kate Berthelsen were apart of the skit, playing different rolls representing each grade. Train 28! Mascot is a symbol that represents the class and their theme on it’s own, as well as during demonstration. The mascot committee plans before field week, and executes during the week. Demonstration (demo) is a whole class event, planed by a small group, the demo committee. These girls change song lyrics to fit the theme of each class. They also create marching band like formations to represent each class and create unity. These songs and formations present a storyline for each class on field day, and enlisting help from other classes through song and small dance moves.
