Photo Ethics Statement

As a photographer, I strive to capture moments and stories of real people’s lives and real events. Through this desire, I will be ethical in my portrayal of these events, and never alter the reality of anything I photograph. I have never, and will never, alter my photographs in a way that harms the subjects. I will continue to learn about photography and journalism, and develop my skills in storytelling and reporting by accurately portraying real situations. As a journalist, I will be fully transparent with my work and will push myself to go out of my comfort zone in this field.

  1. Martha your light and shadow is beautiful. I love the lines it makes on the dancers. It can be tricky to capture a good still photo with so much movement but you did a great job!
